#171/365 It was a Dark and Stormy Night ... and morning ... and afternoon

The tornado siren is right across the street from our home ... which is kind of handy when the sky looks like this.

Wow. Wicked weather all day.

Love the clouds. Love the storms.

The angry sky reflected in my sun room window.

Bit of ground saturation? Hmmm....I'd say so.

This morning, we awoke to (unpredicted) sunny skies!!! Thrilling and soooo welcome!!

OMG Teri!!! I just saw your comment on Donna's blog, and was so excited to see you! So I went to your blog (long lost connection) and loved the stormy weather post. We have been seeing very similar cloud formations here in W. Wa...most unusual and lots of funnel clouds and "tornadoes"

But what has me weeping is the post from your friend about "grown teens." Just weeping. Our 19 yr. old was in a horrible bike accident last weekend and has an $18,000 hospital bill. He has so many people rallying around him and trying to help him. When I saw this I just wept. Tell your friend thank you for her poem!!

Oh my goodness, the sky looks beautiful, but also very ominous....glad you didn't get a tornado!
